Sea level along the U.S. coastline is projected to rise, on average, 10 - 12 inches (0.25 - 0.30 meters) in the next 30 years (2020 - 2050), which will be as much as the rise measured over the last 100 years (1920 - 2020).

Higher temperatures
The waters around the USVI have warmed by almost two degrees since 1901, and sea level has risen by about one inch every ten years. The hottest months are June, July, and August, with temperatures in the mid 80s. December through February are cooler months with high 70 degree temperatures.
